Been AGES since I've been to see a Broadway show. Peter and the Star Catcher was a great welcome back. Definitely worth seeing!

Godspell! Braved illness and rainy humidity to have a theater date with Carrie. T'was quite worth it! What a fun show. It's at the "Circle in the Square" theater, which is literally a circle (well, round) stage in a square auditorium. All sorts of hidden doors and contraptions, audience participation, and cheap jokes. I highly recommend! Oh also - we got to go up on the stage during intermission for some Jesus wine (grape juice). So now I can say I've been on Broadway...

P.S. HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY, GRANDMA MARY BAIDEME! Today would have been my Grandmother's 100th birthday - born May 3, 1912. She picked a good year :).

FINALLY broke my no-Broadway-in-what-seems-like-Forever streak and went to see a show tonight. While I'm a little sad I didn't get to see Harry Potter with an American accent in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, I have to say, Joe Nick Jonas might be my new boy crush. He was delightful, unlike the family of six in front of us who thought they were in their living room.
