Left work (home) for a doctor's appointment today and stumbled upon this sidewalk graffiti. Around the edge it said "Step inside for happiness." So that's what I did!

Street fairs on 116th Street are about as common as ... Saturdays. Sesi and I walked through this one as it was shutting down. I'm not sure who would go on a rickety carnival ferris wheel in the first place, but it was the first ride to be taken apart. The bubbles added some needed magic.

Well, I don't understand why the Cinco de Mayo festival was TODAY, on May 6th... but it was. From 10am to 6pm there was music, food, and lots of chaos all along the East side of 116th St.

Winnie moved in next door, and he brought a party store with him! It's super tiny and only seems to be stocked for wedding and baby showers right now... but still. YAY!
