T'was SUPER hot today, but somehow made it to the East Harlem complex on 117th Street where there is a Pet Smart. I bought Zooey a Furminator, because I'm pretty sure she sheds more than she eats. Also became unreasonably jealous that this starfish gets to live in a permanent pool.

I'm glad I don't have to push my desk to work every day

Major props to this fella, who pushed his fruit cart (at least) three avenues, from Park to Lennox on 116th Street. I'm not a fast walker, but I'm not slow, either... and he kept up quite a pace. How curious different professions are. I've seen food cart workers pushing their goods before, but something about this man and his trek really humbled me. I'll try not to complain about my moderate walk to the subway, anymore!

No pranks for me today. Wasn't feeling well and had lots to do... so this snapshot out the window plus a few trips to the laundry mat were as much as I saw of the outside world. Welcome, April!
